Who would you vote off?
If the Republican presidential primary were a TV reality contest, we wondered who would you kick off first. In a Poll Position scientific national telephone survey, Michelle Bachmann was the winner, or actually the loser, with 24% of you telling us she would be the first to go. According to poll results, Herman Cain would be next with 16% picking to have him ousted, Jon Huntsman would follow next with 12%, Newt Gingrich would be fourth to go with 10%, Ron Paul and Rick Perry tied with 9% wanting them off, Mitt Romney was next to last to go with 5% and Rick Santorum would be the contest winner with only 3% wanting to see him leave. Thirteen percent did not have an opinion on the poll question.
Republicans had a different order of who should go when. Herman Cain would be among the first four voted off and the last three standing would be Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. Here is a look at how the GOP would vote in a mock reality TV contest:
Poll Position’s scientific telephone survey of 1,200 registered voters nationwide was conducted November 13, 2011 and has a margin of error of ±3%. Poll results are weighted to be a representative sampling of all American adults.
