Dancing with the Stars… Obama and Bachmann?

Which U.S. presidential candidate would you most like to see compete on the hit TV show “Dancing with the Stars”?

Okay, we know it’s a far-fetched question since none of the candidates is likely to ever be a contestant on the program.

When we put that question to the American people in a national scientific survey, here’s how they responded:

Nearly half of Americans dodged the question by opting not to express an opinion.

Among those who answered, Barack Obama and Michelle Bachmann triumphed, if you call it a win.

The results came along partisan lines, with Democrats favoring Obama (27%), Republicans picking Bachmann (21%), and independents choosing Obama (18%) over Bachmann (14%).

The telephone survey of 1,066 registered voters nationwide was conducted October 30, 2011 and has a margin of error of ±3%. Poll results are weighted to be a representative sampling of all American adults.
