68%: No to new Sheen series
Actor Charlie Sheen’s new TV series is called “Anger Management”. Based on results from our Poll Position scientific national telephone survey, the controversial actor may need to do some real life anger management to win back viewers. When asked if you think you will watch the new series, 68% responded no, 17% said yes, 16% did not have an opinion.
Women clearly had no interest in the new Sheen series with 71% saying they would not watch “Anger Management”, 12% said they would and 17% offered no opinion. Men were a little more likely to give the new series try, barely, with 21% saying they would watch, but 65% said they would not. Fifteen percent did not have an opinion.
Sheen did manage to get politicians to agree on something, but it is not good news for him. Republicans, Democrats and Independents were not inclined to watch “Anger Management”, with 72% of Independents saying no, 68% of Democrats declining to watch and 63% of GOP respondents saying they will not watch.
Poll Position’s scientific telephone survey of 1,066 registered voters nationwide was conducted October 30, 2011 and has a margin of error of ±3%.
