Given the chance to take a 10 minute flight in space, how much would you pay? We asked in a Poll Position national scientific survey if you pay a thousand dollars for a 10 minute space flight and 68% said no. Twenty-five percent said they would pay the money for the flight and 8% did not have an opionio.
The divide between men and women was measurable. Women showed little interest in space travel with 79% saying no to 13% saying they would. Men were more willing to take the journey with 56% saying they would not but, over a third o men, 37% said they would pay a thousand dollars for the ten minute space trip.
Poll Position’s scientific telephone survey of 1,076 registered voters nationwide was conducted October 20, 2011 and has a margin of error of ±3%.
