Best way to watch a movie
If you could choose, where would you watch a movie? We asked you in a scientific Poll Position national telephone survey if you would choose a theater, TV or to watch a movie on a computer? It was a close race with 49% picking the TV, 44% saying at a theater while only 3% picked the computer.
Watching movies on a computer did not fare well in any category with Independents having the largest number of people opting for the computer at 6%.
Age matters when it comes to choosing where to watch a movie. In the 18-29 year old group 69% picked a theater, 27% chose TV and 4% said the computer. In the 30-44 year old group 50% picked a theater, 43% said TV with only 3% choosing the computer.
TV was more popular for watching a movie according to American over 45. In the 45-64 year old group 57% selected the television, 34% wanted to go to a theater with a meager 2% choosing a computer. Those 65 and over picked TV by 65% to 25% over those choosing the theater. Three percent opted for the computer to watch a movie.
Poll Position’s scientific telephone survey of 1,076 registered voters nationwide was conducted October 20, 2011 and has a margin of error of ±3%.

If you want to watch all your shows and movies on your computer instead of paying for cable monthly, check out this site. You can watch all your favorite channels on a PC or a Mac. You can spend all that money you save from not having to pay for cable monthly elsewhere.

However, Rachel, there is a one-time charge for the TV on your PC software that you’re talking about. But that sure beats paying $50 plus dollars a month for the cable-type service. I think I will do the one-time charge software and get thousands of channels that way. Presently I pay $55 for a basic package with no premium channels.
I like to watch movies on my television.
Although my preference is to go to a theater to enjoy a movie, the exorbitant ticket, food & drink prices make this a rare occurrence, indeed.
