Give up sex or the internet
Given the choice of sex or the internet, well, it really wasn’t much of a choice for most Americans. When asked to pick between the two in a Poll Position national telephone survey a majority said the Internet would go. Fifty-one percent said they would rather give up the Internet against 17% who would give up sex. Thirty-two percent did not give an opinion.
Men and women both chose giving up the Internet but by different margins. Among men 57% would give up the Internet with 16% choosing to give up sex and 25% not having an opinion. With women 45% said give up the internet, 16% would pass on sex with 39% not having an opinion.
The closest divide on the question came from the 18-29 year old goup. Thirty-six percent said they would give up the Internet but 35% said they would give up sex. Twenty-eight percent offered no opinion.
