Comedian and actor Eddie Murphy will host the Academy Awards telecast next February.

Do you think Murphy is a good pick to be the host of the Oscars?

When our pollsters asked Americans that question, most of those with an opinion answered yes.

Among those with a view, 60% thought Eddie Murphy was a good pick to be host, while 40% disagreed.

But overall 41% of those asked said they had no opinion on the question, with 36% favoring Murphy, and 23% opposing.
